The Group’s first online store was launched in 1999. Jotex, specialized in curtains and textiles, was acquired shortly thereafter. 10 years later, Ellos Group initiated a comprehensive change process to focus solely on e-commerce.. We launched Homeroom, a new online store for home furnishings, in 2018. In 2022, we sharpened our strategy by concentrating our efforts and focus on our offering to our core customers – women in mid-life. 2023, Elpy became a new business area at Ellos Group.
Ellos Group has drawn great advantage from its time as a mail order and distance sales company – including, for example, having integrated payment solutions in place since the 1970s, Nordic-wide distribution since the 1980s and in-house IT solutions since the 1990s.
